Where is the resort located?
Copamarina is located on the Puerto Rico's Caribbean
South Western Coast in the town of Guánica, just forty-five
minutes from Ponce and two hours from San Juan. A beautiful scenic
drive 90 miles southwest of San Juan takes you to the resort. From San Juan,
take Highway 52 to Ponce, West on Road 2 and South on Route 116 to Guánica.

San Juan is ninety miles away, or about two hours by car.
Do I have to fly into San Juan or are there flights into Guánica?
You may fly into Ponce (about 45 minutes away),
Aguadilla (about an hour), Mayaguez (45 minutes) or San Juan Airport
(two hours).
Are all of the resort's indoor facilities air-conditioned?

Does the resort offer children's activities? Babysitting?
The resort offers two parent-supervised kiddie
pools and a children's playground. Also, each room recieves The
Disney Channel. Babysitting is available upon request $10.00 per
hour.

What is the charge for access to long distance phone calls?
The charge is $0.50 + the cost of the call.
Do you offer non-smoking rooms?
All rooms are non smoking.

Yes. Copamarina offers a beach on the Caribbean Sea.

Yes, we offer a full range of PADI dive courses from introductory to instructor. Watersports equipment offered
include sea kayaks, peddle boats, and hobie cats.

Yes.
Do I need an electrical adaptor?
Puerto Rico runs on the same electrical standard
as the United States. Guests visiting from Europe will need adaptors.

Our convenience store, The Island Bazaar, offers
clothing, jewelry and souvenirs, as well as film, suntan lotion

What activities are close to the resort?
Copamarina offers a diversity of tours, appealing
to a broad range of interests. You may enjoy an excursion to the
Bioluminescent Bay, hiking and/or birdwatching at the Guánica
Dry Forest, or a trip into Ponce to see it's historic architecture

Live music is offered every evening.

Yes, two lighted tennis courts and a tennis pro.

Is there horseback riding on-property or nearby?
The best horseback riding is located aprox. One hour and a half away in Isabela.
Where is the closest church?
There is a Catholic church in town, approximately 4 miles away.

Do I need a passport? Does my child need a passport?
For Americans, no passport is needed. Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the US. Guests from outside the US will need passports.
Are there dress requirements for the restaurant at night?
No, very casual and relaxing, but no tank tops or bathing suits.

You can not buy any duty free goods in Puerto Rico, however we do not have sales tax.

New 18 holes Golf Course in Ponce, Costa Caribe, only 40 minutes from the Resort. Designed by Bruce Besse of Willowbend Golf & Land Design, it features the first island green in Puerto Rico. Set on a former sugarcane field, with views of the Caribbean and the Central Mountains.

Is there wireless Internet service available at the resort?
The growing number of business groups and companies that choose Copamarina for their executive retreats has prompted our investment in a sophisticated wireless Internet access system.
Service is available in all rooms and public areas, so that our guests can carry their laptops and use them from any of the many connection points throughout our facilities. In the event that your laptop doesn't have a wireless card, the hotel will provide one. The connection is free of charge.
